| $100 Gummi Bears is an introspective and quirky collection of vignettes about a boy; his mother; a Parkinson’s disease ravaged, ex-millionaire addict; and an eclectic collection of other unique, transient types. Junior high is a strange time, but for Chris it’s even stranger. Living for four years in “the penthouse,” Chris encounters the bizarre and disturbed while dealing with all his new teenage discoveries. Chris comes to terms with himself and his world by probing back into these formative and often illuminating events of his past. Suitable for mature audiences.
